Before the Performance- The Routine

Today I have a pole fitness Winter Showcase which I am dancing a solo in. I'm very very nervous and slightly shaking as I write this but I wanted to share with you what I do beauty wise before the performance.

The night before the performance

First I washed my hair with the TrèSemmé Deep Cleansing shampoo and then used the L'Oréal Ever Riche hair mask. Afterwards I worked a bit of the Wella Professional Luxe Oil into the ends of my hair and then sprayed the Franck Provost heat protectant all over to protect my hair. I then just blow dried my hair messily, trying to give it as much volume as I could. For skincare, I cleansed as usual and then used the Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed Mask to unclog my pores and clear out my skin a little. I also used the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate to make sure my skin was in the best condition possible. Last but not least, I exfoliated my lips with the mint flavoured Lush lip scrub and then applied a thick layer of the Labello SOS Lip Repair.

The morning of the performance

This morning I woke up at 9am, had a cup of coffee to calm my nerves a little and then started getting ready. First I did my usual skincare routine and then moved on to nails. I painted both my finger and my toe nails in Maybelline's Berry Stain, which I've been wearing all week. I really love the colour and it matches the purple top that I am wearing for the performance! I then moved on to styling my hair. I decided to wear it straight because I was inspired by my  pole dancing idol Anastasia Skukhtorova who has straight hair, so I used my Remington straighteners to achieve a perfectly straight look. I then just smoothed away any flyaways with my L'Oréal Elnett Flexible hair spray.

And that's it! This is all I did before my performance.
