My Halloween Costume

Firstly I'd like to apologise for the lack of posts in the last few days, I had a test and a coursework deadline this week and I don't work well under stress so it hasn't been great. However now I've handed in my work I'm back! Today I'm gonna share my Halloween costume from last night with you. Halloween is definitely one of my favourite "holidays" because I absolutely love dressing up! I planned this year's costume really far in advance and made my dress over the summer- yes, I made a wedding dress to then rip it up. It may seem like a lot of effort but it was definitely worth it! Unfortunately I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked on the night but here are the ones I do have:

As you can see I went as zombie bride- it's not a particularly innovative concept but I think that it's a great Halloween classic if you do it well. I got my friend Kane to be my zombie groom which was great! We definitely attracted a lot of attention on the night, especially my neck wound was a hit, reactions ranged from absolute disgust to "Can I touch it?? It looks like bacon!", which was my personal favourite. Unfortunately I don't have a full length picture but my dress was about mid calf length because I didn't want it to be too slutty since it had a rip in the front which went quite high up so you could see my garter which had a bloody handprint on it. All in all it was a great night and definitely a dressing up success! And if you're wondering about my makeup, it was inspired by Pixiwoo's Helena Bonham-Carter tutorial :)

I hope you all had a great halloween! What did you dress up as?
