November Favourites

This month I've had quite a few favourites, some of which are rediscoveries and some are new... So let's get started, shall we?

This was one of my rediscoveries this month- I've been using a lot of different foundations because I'm slowly losing my tan and my skin has been changing colour a lot. Now that it's pretty much back to normal I found this foundation in my drawers which is a perfect colour match for me in the shade 'Vanilla'. I apply it either with my fingers or my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and it gives me lovely glowing skin without making my skin look too oily. I do need a few powder touch ups during the day but that's normal for me and the staying power of this foundation is good, if not mind blowingly so. The only real problem I have with it is the lack of a pump- sort it out Revlon!

I received this in my November Birchbox and oh my god I'm in love. I love fluttery eyelashes and that's exactly what this mascara gives me! It doesn't give as much length and volume as my Clinique mascara but it looks very natural and pretty, a lot like the They're Real mascara by Benefit. The main reason I prefer it to the Clinique and Benefit mascaras is that it's SO much easier to remove. A little massaging with a good makeup remover and it's gone- no rubbing involved!

This brush has just revolutionised contouring for me- I first saw Shaanxo, one of my favourite Youtubers, use it and loved the sharp contour it gives! Since it's Nars it's quite expensive but I found it on ebay for £10 including shipping. Is it real? I don't know. Do I care? Not really. It works really well and makes contouring really easy. Just make sure you don't overdo it because no one wants to walk around with obvious brown stripes on their cheeks...

I've never been someone to care about moisturising my body too much but recently I've gotten into moisturising and especially using a scrub in the shower (this may be due to the large amount of time I spend in short pole dancing shorts, or it may just be an excuse to stay in the warm shower for longer). I love this scrub because the particles are quite fine but still exfoliate really well. It applies almost like a shower gel so there's no awkward half of the scrub falling to the floor business which I've encountered with a lot of scrubs.

I never actually thought this conditioner would straighten my hair, but it does! I have naturally curly/wavy hair so it doesn't go completely straight but it's a lot more manageable, which has made my life a lot easier. A full review of this is coming soon so watch this space!
