NYX Love in Paris Review

Merry Christmas everyone! As I'm in Germany, I got my presents yesterday and my sister got me this really pretty palette by NYX! It's the Love in Paris palette in the shade 03 Be our guest Maurice and the colours are perfect for me, they're mainly purples but there's some grey and bronze shades in there too.
The way they're organised in the palette is really smart as I think that you can use them in threes, both vertically and horizontally as the colours go together very well- making makeup easy! And can I just mention the adorable packaging? The closing is a bow! All the shades are shimmery (apart from the matte black) and I love every single colour in this palette, but unfortunately I was quite disappointed with the formulation. Most of the colours barely show up in swatches, apart from the black, which is amazingly pigmented, and there's quite a lot of fallout with all of them. I'll still be using this palette because I love the colours but I think that you definitely need to use a primer and might need to use them wet to make them more pigmented.
My favourite colours are the bronzey shades and the black in the bottom row as I think they would make a lovely smokey eye using the left colour on the lid, the middle colour in the crease and the black along the lashline. The white is a lovely inner corner highlight and is definitely one of the more pigmented shades in the palette and the dark purple on the top is also a lovely shade for bringing a pop of colour into a smokey eye.
I really do love this palette because of the colours and the way they're organised, but I really wish the quality of the actual shadows was better.

Merry Christmas everyone!
