Ski Trip Skincare Add-ons

During the winter, your skin needs that extra bit of TLC so it doesn't dry out too much, but when you're out in the cold skiing all day, some extra products are needed!

Kiehls midnight recovery concentrate
It's all about the oils when it's cold... I normally use this twice a week because it's quite expensive but this week I'm using it every night to make sure my skin can recover during the night.

SPF is probably one of the most important things to have when you're on a winter holiday, as the sun can be really strong up on the mountains and the snow reflects it so you want to protect your skin! The one I use is by piz buin and it's factor 50+. It's a bit pricey but worth it, it has quite a thick consistency so I wouldn't wear it underneath makeup but I don't wear makeup when I'm skiing anyway.

Egyptian magic cream
I got tons of samples of this in a Birchbox a while ago as decided to take these on the trip with me last minute. It has a similar consistency to Vaseline and I normally put it on when I get back from skiing so it has a few hours to sink in and give my skin back the moisture it's lost during the day.

My lips burn really easily and if you've ever had burned lips you know that it's something you want to avoid at all costs. I use the Nivea Sun Protect lip balm with SPF 30, it works well, doesn't make your lips look white and you can carry it around with you easily for top ups during the day.
