My Benefit Brow Bar Experience

Today I got my brows waxed for the first time. "19 years old, a beauty blogger and never waxed her eyebrows??", you might think- and rightly so. My lack of professional eyebrow shaping experience was due to the fear that something could go wrong, they could make my brows too thin or make them a shape I didn't like, etc. But when Emma got her brows done at the Benefit Brow Bar in Brighton and told me about her experience (which you can read about here) I decided to overcome my 'fears' and finally get my brows done.

I got my brows waxed by Meg who is absolutely lovely and seemed to know exactly what she was doing so I felt very comfortable letting her do my brows. First she mapped out where my brow should start and end and where the arch should be for my face shape and then showed me exactly what she wanted to do, which definitely put me at ease. It was a very relaxed athmosphere and we had a lovey chat so I barely noticed that she was effectively ripping hair out of my face.
After she was done she put some concealer around my brows so I wouldn't look like a crazy person because obviously the skin was a little red. The whole thing took around 15 minutes and cost £11.50, which I was very happy with.
Final verdict? I will definitely be going back to the Benefit Brow Bar because they're very professional but really nice at the same time and I was very happy with the results.
