My Most Used Brushes

I love brushes- I think that you can have the best, most expensive makeup but it won't look good if you don't have the right tools to apply it with. So today, I'm going to show you my favourite and most used brushes!

I don't actually use this brush for contouring, although it is fabulous for that! I tend to use it to blend out my concealer because it gives a lovely finish, and also to set my undereye concealer with powder. It's also a great brush for applying highlighter!

NARS Ita 21
This is the best contouring brush I have ever used. It's super flat so I literally place it underneath my cheekbones, wiggle it a bit and tadaa- you have the perfect contour!

I use this brush for blush (duh) and sometimes bronzer and I really like it. It's the perfect size for brush application and it picks up a really good amount of product- not too much and not too little.

I don't think I need to say much about this brush because pretty much all beauty bloggers love it. It's great for buffing in foundation and leaving a flawless finish and also good for buffing over blush, bronzer, etc. when you've applied a little bit too much. All my Real Techniques brushes wash really well as well and haven't shed at all, and they dry really fast which is a bonus!

I use this to apply and blend cream shadows, as the synthetic bristles are better for working with cream products than for example a MAC 217. The brush is really easy to work with and it's the perfect size for applying and blending eyeshadows!

Probably the most cult eyeshadow brush out there- it's perfect for packing on colour as well as blending and if I could only have one eyeshadow brush then this would be it!

This is just a simple pencil brush that I use to smudge out eyeliner or apply eyeshadow along my lower lashline. It works really well but I do find that because it's so dense it's a little bit scratchy sometimes and doesn't feel great on the eye so if you know of a softer pencil brush please let me know in the comments!

What are your most used brushes?
