You Can't Play On Broken Strings

As promised, I'm doing more outfit posts now, thanks to my lovely best friend/housemate/photographer Lauren! We went and braved the cold to get a few shots of my completely weather inappropriate outfit, because this jumper is too pretty to not share!
I think this jumper is such a cool piece because it looks distressed on the sides and it's almost like a side cutout but in an edgier way. I like to wear this with high waisted jeans in the winter so I don't get too cold on the sides and you can't see any skin. I wore it with my high waisted Primark jeans, which I finally got back after three months (but that's a story for another day). They're my favourite high waisted jeans because they fit my waist perfectly and are really skinny, but don't get baggy after a few wears. And the best thing is that they're only £10!
I've been really into wearing heels recently because let's face it, my legs need all the extra length they can get, and these heeled boots from New Look are my go-to heels because they're so comfortable. I actually have them in two different colours! And by colours I mean that one pair is black and the other pair is black with a while sole- crazy, I know.
To finish off the look I wore my black Topshop leather jacket for a bit of warmth and my beloved Alexander Wang Rocco bag, which will not leave my side ever again.

For your viewing pleasure, here's a picture of me being overly excited about putting my jacket on...
