Paris meets Nashville

A few weeks ago I headed up to London for the Blogger's Market and to finally meet Jaye, who I've been talking to for ages now! We had a great time at the market and then went for lunch with Natasha, but obviously had to stop for some outfit photos first... We found a lovely little street and Jaye very kindly agreed to take some awkward outfit snaps for me, so here they are!

I've been really trying to look more put together and 'grown up' recently and I really love that classic simple Parisian style, so that has been my inspiration recently. However I also like to add slightly more bohemian details because I love that style too, so I paired a simple striped top and black skirt with a western inspired belt from Primark and my fringe bag from Eddie Bauer and I loved how it looked!

The shoes are my currently favourites, they're ankle boots from Asos which aren't too high but still look like you've made an effort (and add some much needed length to my stubby little legs!). They're not the most comfortable shoes in the world because well, they're heels, but I will happily wear them all day.

My sunglasses are also from asos (I swear this post isn't sponsored by asos), although the brand is actually Quay Australia. They make the most amazing sunglasses but they're actually quite affordable (I think these were £25) and they just add that little bit of edge to any outfit.
